Description
PsCS2 no ref722-705 BC - Assyrian Bas-relief found in the ruins at Khorsabad during the excavation of the palace of Sargon II (or Saragon II) has been claimed to depict falconry. In fact, it depicts an archer shooting at raptors and an attendant capturing a raptor. A. H. Layard's statement in his 1853 book Discoveries in the Ruins of Nineveh and Babylon is "A falconer bearing a hawk on his wrist appeared to be represented in a bas-relief which I saw on my last visit to those ruins."
Only fitting that the tradition would carry on way past our understanding

For me some parts don't fit quite as well as others, for example the grass and forground trees seem very sharp when compared to the rest. As a result they look seperate from the rest of the painting, only a small problem though.
Excellent painting.

agreed juro, i tend to get carried away with the unsharp mask at the end, the print res version looks ok, but once i shrunk and sharpened, kind of overblew bits
