painted in psCS no ref 4192x3000, app 20hrs

tricky to judge how long this actually took as i painted the sky 9month ago, the midground 3 month ago and the rest recently so 20hrs is a tentative guess, enough time to screw up my hand though (taking a short break)
went nuts on detail, loses a lot even at 1000px, print will look nice though

Gorgeous - and I love the way the vehicles look so much like the space ships in the old classic "War of the Worlds" movie ... not only a very realistic image but a nod to the greats as well.

Great depth you achieved in this. What I like most about it is that you have the sun shining on the city in the middle ground and in the foreground it's shadded. It really adds more to the depth and atmosphere of a vast landscape. The sky is also well done. Keep up the awesome work bud

absolutely blinding! magnificent! brilliant! i could go on!...

the only tiny tiny point that i could suggest is that the lights in the bottom left corner are slightly drawing the eye away from the centre of the peice, but then its pretty well balanced by the sky in the top right!

WOW! Right up Gary Tonge's alley. The ships, the mountains and that city are wonderfully done, and the sky is absolutely perfect. I love how the left and right sides are rounded such that the composition has a circular feel to it...kind of complements the curved mountains and arc ships.
