The values, rendering, and pose are all ok, but the contrast seems a little weak. By any chance did you do this on an lcd or a notebook screen? When I used to transfer my work from lcd/notebook to crt, they used to look like this too.

nope, was reasonably intentional, the muted appearance is what i do normally, i didnt use any pure black as i wanted that subtlety, guess i just have low contrast eyes hehe, thx guys
